Ingredients:
Serves 2-4

1 kg beef or lamb or chicken or pork 2 Tbsp. Dejura masala
1 egg
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 can of tomato paste
1/2 tomato paste can of lemon juice
1 litre of water
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander

Combine the water, tomato paste and the lemon juice in a large heavy-bottomed pan and bring slowly to a boil. Meanwhile mix the meat, Dejura masala, onion and egg in a bowl. Mix well and form into meatballs of desired size. (Size doesn't matter).

Add the meatballs to the simmering liquid and cook uncovered for 30 minutes until the meatballs are cooked and the sauce is reduced.

Add salt to taste and garnish with fresh coriander. Serve on a bed of couscous or rice.
